The MSTA puts Middlesbrough schools at the heart of training and recruiting future generations of teachers to work in the area. As part of an Alliance students are supported throughout their training by experts who are already in the teaching profession. The MSTA training partnership is made up of schools from across Middlesbrough including primary, and special schools. It is led by Pallister Park Primary School.
The MSTA School Direct Training is run in partnership with York St John University who provide university based modules throughout the year. At the end of the course you will not only have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) but also a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) which is 60 credits towards gaining a Masters qualification.
Members of the MST Alliance are passionate about teaching and wish to recruit the best quality, enthusiastic and dedicated teachers into the profession. Working alongside highly skilled teachers in their own schools will enable you to observe and learn from teachers who are dedicated to providing the best outcomes for our children.
