This is the introductory event to welcome all new Year 1 ECTs and Mentors into the ECF Training as they begin their careers as new teachers. As part of this welcome event we will also incorporate Module 1 of the training: Enabling Pupil Learning. This is an event for both Year 1 ECTs and their Mentors. This is an opportunity to discuss the opportunities and pitfalls of the year 2 ECF. You will hear from Mentors, as well as other ECTs and discuss the nature and best way to approach your inquiries. Year 1 Launch Conference
This is the welcome conference for new ECT's joining us in the first year of their ECF training with UCL and their Mentors. The venue is the JC Hall, Carmel College in Darlington, DL3 8RP. We ask kindly that attendees do not arrive before 4pm in order to help traffic flow and congestion in the housing estate in which the College is situated.
